Full range of services for gas turbine units and booster compressor stations

Our Services
Conduct borescope examination is an inseparable part in the operation of engines, gas turbines, APU, running at work or in the fleet. Borescope methods inspection gives an idea about the internal condition of the combustion chamber, a compressor part, the turbine.
Visual and dimensional control is applicable to very different objects. This includes high temperature and dangerous radiation conditions, chemically active media, etc.
This method differs for the ultrasound method in that an eddy current sensor does not require a coupling liquid. Many see the eddy current NDT method attractive due to its comparatively fast process. Such inspection is quite feasible and efficient even with objects of complex geometry or those located in difficult spots.
One of efficient methods of detecting through and surface discontinuities is capillary control. It uses tracing fluids with a high penetration ability. They are also called penetrants.
This technology is used to determine the ageing degree of pipes in main pipelines, and of other assemblies and mechanisms. US inspection equipment is most widely deployed in oil, chemical, aviation and machinery building industries, as well as in public utilities.

The method is perfectly suited for detecting superficial faults and hidden faults lying at the maximum depth of 2–3 mm.

This control method is based on the study of magnetic fields, which dissipate around the inspected area after being magnetized
As an object transfers, radiates or absorbs heat, its surface temperature changes. Using these data, one can make a conclusion on the object's condition and eliminate the fault beforehand.

Depending on the procedure, heat monitoring is divided into two types:

Usually this way of solving a damaged blade is resorted to if the hit is formed hub voltage, which, due to centrifugal forces can cause the separation of the blade and the death of all the engine stages and is extremely expensive repair. Such places are burnished transitions and the roots of the blades
Quality control expenses in highly developed countries are 1 to 3% of manufactured products cost on the average, while in defense, nuclear and aerospace industries quality control expenses increase up to 12 – 18%. Welded joints inspection labor costs in big-diameter and cross-country pipelines construction reach 10%. It has long been understood in the entire world that savings on control are imaginary which finally turn out to be huge expenses to overcome accidents and disasters.

Borescope NDT inspections are an integral part in operation of engines, equipment, assemblies, units, power plants. Manufacturer requires to check operational reliability and integrity of mechanisms and loaded components during routine maintenance. And the time when personnel and equipment necessary to carry out relevant works comes. You need an NDT inspector who understands that he is an ultimate authority who can prevent a machine or mechanism from an accident, failure, unexpected stoppage. First and foremost, it is he who bears special responsibility for control of parts of aviation and space machinery, locomotives and rail cars; equipment of nuclear, power and chemical production facilities which pose a huge danger not only for humans, but for environment as well. Strict sanctions from foreign manufacturers however limit supply of spare parts, units, technical documentation, personnel training to our country.

In this connection, the most valuable human resources are those with a sufficient job experience, certified for all gas turbine units not available for trainings, but which are still being operated in our country, including aircraft engines and APU's. Moreover, with the lack of manufacturer-supplied information, you need individuals experienced in your particular GTU, who do not need informational or documentational manufacturer support. On the other hand, this situation somewhat simplifies unit operation, since supervisory requirements are lifted and no official assessments are needed for reports related to borescope, or NDT inspections. In such cases, only specialist skill and experience are required. Such people with 5+ years of NDT background in oil and aviation industries are part of our company. We can perform one-off inspections or provide continuous monitoring of your units or power components. Our specialists have NDT background at Yaro-Yakhinsk Oil/Gas Condensate Field, Prirazlomnaya Offshore Ice-resistant Fixed Platform and other major domestic oil production locations, as well as in NDT control of airplane engines "on the wing" and in the hangar.

A good command of technical English allows us to perform jobs abroad and to prepare reports in English.

We use state-of-the-art equipment of the world's leading manufacturers for our inspections. We draw up reports after customer-provided templates, or we can develop a template for you free of charge.

Various non-destructive tests are used to control the quality of manufactured products and their condition during operation. Selection of a particular method is based on the configuration, dimensions and material of a product.
